Our Approach

The name @AltitudeIT came from a passion of the Aviation and Information Technology industries. In Aviation being precise, checking and cross-checking at every juncture ensures safety and ultimately achieving the altitude and stability needed. Focusing on the details allow for a successful straight and level flight and ultimately a successful landing . Information Technology is very similar in that there are many aspects of technology that correlate to the stages of flight. Developing proper service solutions that can be associated with the stage of the flight process with preflight, runup, climb, cruise and landing which are different phases of flight. Each can be assessed, measured, and improved upon to ensure capturing the most of your service delivery investment.

How will you know when you arrive?

Defining the ultimate goal (the destination airport if you will) is what @AltitudeIT can assist you with. Setting parameters that can be measured over time is a requirement of success. Identifying what is of importance to your client, customers or senior leadership is paramount in establishing a solution that will meet the needs of your organization. @AltitudeIT uses seasoned resources that have been in the service delivery for decades using the @AIT framework to get you flying in the right direction.

Planning your IT Service Solution (Flight)
Where are you now or Where do you want to go?

Determining your current place in the process is imperative in engaging @AltitudeIT. You may be a startup trying to determine the best approach to establishing a service delivery model that will work for you and your clients. You may be an Enterprise client that just can’t seem to deliver a solution that meets your internal needs, meets minimum Service Levels, or your budgetary requirements. @Attitude can assist you in identifying steps needed to accomplish the task at hand.

What is required to get there?

  • Fuel=/Energy/People/Knowledge
  • Infrastructure/tools
  • Financial investment
  • Management consensus

@AIT starts with a few questions that allow us to identify where focus is needed engaging at a level that includes you and your team in the solution.

First, what is required for a successful flight?

  • What does success look like to you and your organization?
  • Where are your current Challenges?
  • What type of service solution is needed or in place?
  • Is it, or will the solution meet the requirements of your organization or clients?

Second, Does the environment, (weather) support a successful flight in Visual Flight Rules (VFR) meaning is the business climate stable and easy to navigate or is it Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), meaning in the clouds with many unknown pitfalls to navigate?

  • Is the environment clear or turbulent?
    • Competitive Landscape
    • Senior leadership buy-in
    • Budgeted or non-budgeted

Third, do you have the right environment to be successful?

  • People
    • Management and quality people
  • Technology
    • Tools, Process and Service Metrics to allow you to be your best
  • Budget
    • Financing, Available Cash, Investors, Identifiable Revenue
    • Goals and Net Profit Requirements.

Once we identify the key objectives of the consulting requirement, we assist you and your team in identifying what “phase of flight” you are currently in. These phases are easily identifiable and allow us to assist you in focusing on the key objectives and ultimately the outcomes of your specific needs.
